From Portada to Xtarting
A Dominican technology story that began with Portada in 2001 and continues through Xtarting today.
Portada was born in the Dominican Republic in 2001, when establishing a serious presence on the Internet still required organizations to navigate unfamiliar technology, infrastructure and communication decisions. The company helped turn that uncertainty into practical websites, software and online services.
The work was never limited to visual design. A useful digital presence needed dependable hosting, maintainable content, direct support and software that reflected how each organization actually operated. Education, real estate, professional services, construction, hospitality and industry all contributed different lessons about clarity, reliability and long-term responsibility.
